A perfect day has come,
and I knew that sun would shine again,
upon your face I see a ray of light,
glowing so brightly,
knowing that you might be,

The one,
never mind that I have been through this before,
every time it comes my way,
I look for something more,
in The one,

so many people search sometime,
for perfect things they'd never find,
the only things I want are mine,

A perfect day has come,
seeing you standing in my sun,
I hold my hands praying that you are,
The one,

never mind that I've been here before,
every new beginning only brings me something more,
I wonder what tomorrow has in store?
but until that day comes,
I will stay basking in the sun,

because I believe that you are,
The one.
