National Security Minister Tommy Turnquest yesterday urged employers to make an impending Prison Discharge Certificate one of their fundamental considerations when faced with making a decision about hiring a former prison inmate.

It is a step in the right direction. Maybe some of these criminals will be able to start fresh and do some good after prison instead of ending up on the streets. Also a great tool to instill pride and a sense of accomplishment in the prisoners. I also hope they are giving them real world skills such as carpentry. Maybe then we could get a guy that knows how to build a house for government.
