In what could lead to a landmark decision affecting the telecommunications sector in The Bahamas, Systems Resource Group Limited (SRG) has filed an action in the Supreme Court questioning the constitutionality of the Bahamas Telecommunications Company's (BTC) monopoly on the industry.

you know if they translated the laws into english maybe these court cases would be cut and dry .. right now its like the bible .. it means different things to different people .. either way i say go for it, and I hope they win.

I also hope the courts get rid of that rubbish that says it is illegal to use VOIP applications such as ALL current IM programs like MSN IM, as well as ofcourse Vonage and Skype; as THAT is certainly a violation of our constitutional rights and freedoms!

Yes, as one who was burned in the first go around of the privatization of the wireless busienss I truely hope so.

Something to the effect that - Thanks for paying your fee, thanks for going through the many rounds of consideratin, if we were not backing out on our commitment to prizatize the wireless arm then you would have won and your time and large expense of playing would have been worth it.
