FACTS ONLY
09-01-07, - 07:10 PM
What change of heart FACTS ONLY? Check your facts again, and tell me where I have disagreed with this project in question any where along the way.
This challenge goes for every other contributor to this forum and elsewhere...
look forward to the facts, FACTS ONLY.
Dennis Dames' Blog (http://zephyr.tigblog.org)
My conclusion was arrived at when I saw your behaviour, albeit just a few seconds, on the TV news and your posts in a previous thread. At that time I mentioned how badly you carried on, which you have not yet denied or provided a reason for. Not that you had to.
One has to question the integrity of someone who........at a proper setting for a Q/A session..carries on like a jackazz one week and a lamb the other.
Allow me to draw another conclusion.....you have, since last week read and reread the other threads concerning Albany and since you did not tell us why you carried on so badly at a town meeting.....IN A CHURCH...to discuss the Albany and South Ocean project, you left some of us, me especially, with the impression that you were most upset with the "NONSENSE and FOOLISHNESS" they were talking about.
I was shocked therefore to read your letter in the newspaper/s as you had convinced ME you were against the project.
I paged you on August 30th...... while you were on line.
Today is September 1st.
I'm sorry my attention span does not allow me to be interested at this LATE stage in what you believed then, or what you believe now!!
I'll give you one bit of unsolicited advise though.........if you act like an azz, you'll be treated like one. Not that I'm calling you an azz!!

Repeating a lie islandgyal is just as potent as the lie itself.
Dennis Dames Blog (http://zephyr.tigblog.org)
fact is, two all-age schools on eleuthera have been delayed their opening for another week, without explanation. i didn't 'lie on dames," either. we all responded to the news report that suggested that mr. dames was removed from the recent town hall meeting, which report carried his quote that suggested that not enough information had been shared with regard to the albany project.

No FACTS ONLY,
the asses are those who jump to conclusions while consulting their perception
only.
You, like so many others are not as smart as you appear. You are an empty headed, unread and perhaps semi-illiterate person, as my views are all over the net for the world to read.
Simply take some time off FACTS ONLY to read and hear the facts before you speak, or write.
Don't page me for nothing, rather - listen before you speak.

you came in here all biggety up about the albany project, and the next thing we knew you were being carried out of the town hall meeting that was called to discuss the development. period.
you didn't stop a moment then to mention that someone got up in your face in a personal way, so what else were we to think given the quotes attributed to you AND the video footage of the story. it wasn't a LIE on my part. omission on yours, perhaps.
go bully someone else, cuz i for one am tired of your posturing shyte.

Look islandgyal:
I had suggested earlier that you get a video copy of the meeting in question, before you embarassed yourself further internationally.
The facts and truth speak for themselves. But, you and others are not interested in the facts and truth, as you keep repeating nonsense.
I must question your motive here islandgyal.
The truth is the truth, and you and others here are not interested in what actually happened at the meeting in question.
All you keep saying, is that I was thrown out of the meeting. For what, you don't care, because you want to put your distorted twist to this story.
It won't happen here, as mamma don't want any raking and scraping in this forum.

the only one being made a fool of 'internationally' is you ... straight scoop from the national newspaper, if you'd care to review:
"The public appeared primarily concerned about beach access, antiquities and road changes.
Dennis Dames compared the issue to the Clifton Cay controversy that happened more than 10 years ago. Back then Bahamians raised strenuous objections to changes that were proposed to accommodate a gated community.
"If I could remember Clifton one of the biggest problems with that was that road and here we are now with these developments we are not just talking about blocking off that nice road that lots of Bahamians drive on, especially on Sundays, but we are talking about diverting two roads and in addition to that, with all of these developments coming on stream, it is overwhelming to all of us because we really don’t know what is going to happen," he said.
"Beach access is a national entitlement…when the pink wall [South Ocean] went up years ago, there should have been beach access."
Albany developers want to create a new coastal zone access path between their resort and the South Ocean project. The beach in front of the Albany resort would be open to the public, Mr. Annand said."
clifton cay went down in flames, so perhaps your analogy just went over our stupid *** heads. our apologies if this article made you look less than enchanted with the project being discussed ... now accept our apology like a gentlemen, and go build a seawall somewhere.

The proof is in the pudding islandgyal:
Where did I object in this pudding you presented, or how did you come to such a foolish and uneducated conclusion islandgyal?
Shame on you islandgyal for being simply unaware.

islandgyal: you are ignorant and shameless.
I feel bad for you if the quote in question is your evidence. You need to come to Nassau for further schooling.
I'm going to have a cocktail on your continuous blind jokes tonight.

Hold on....STOP THE PRESS. LAST WEEK!!........."That nice road that lots of Bahamians drive on, especially on Sundays."
"With all of 'these' developements coming on stream, its really overwhelming to all of us because we really don't know what is going to happen."
THIS WEEK.........Familiar drivers of the proposed diverted strip of road are cognizant of what it’s like when flooding occurs. It is not a good road as it’s a seasonal and - unreliable passage so to speak. Neighbors in South Ocean could attest to the brutality of that piece of road in question when it floods.
It is costly to struggling families’ cars among others, as constant flooding results in dangerous pot-holes and cruel uneven surfaces that seem to be an eternal punishment. A lot of accidents have been instigated by the dangerous curves of this controversial path, coupled with its deadly perpetual uneven base. Its blind qualities have caught even the best drivers off guard – no doubt.
