When you are hired on a "temporary basis" your employer has the right to let you go at any time including the government. The 40 persons who fall into this category are TEMPORARY WORKERS hired under the former government from April 30 to September 30th and the agreement does include "Temporary" in it.

The government payroll is already overburdened.
