Is it possible for the Church to focus on both...Which one is more important than the other/

Question...should politicians seeking office whom the public suspect may be gayt be forced to answer the question one way or the other? what do you think the view of the Bahamas Christian Council would be if it were up to them? Should gays seeking office in our country simply come out of the closet to avoid the possibility of blackmail once in office? What is your view? My wife and I disagree on this issue and often have spirited debates. We have concluded that in general Bahamians have been conditioned and socialized to lie and or deceive people about such issues if they are controversial. Just tell the truth we say. People are not stupid. We will not reject a politician for simply being gay if he(she) is honest and frank about it.Then maybe we can finally move on.

Ah, abuse. But what exactly is the proportion of people abusing porn and then molesting children and/or raping women? I would imagine that, given the size of the porn industry (participants and audiences), the figures probably don't add up to the solution of "get rid of all porn". The people to make a connection between porn and those atrocities are probably those who need to be locked up in Sandilands, yes? For the rest of those who see it as just entertainment, where's the problem? Don't forget, there's different types of porn - child porn and rape/smut videos are illegal (and for an obviously good reason!). But to say that porn in general causes people to commit rape and molestation is quite inaccurate. Anything can cause a person so-inclined to commit those acts. It's like saying that milk should be banned because some people drank too much and got a kidney stone.

ya see rory this is what i was talking about in that other thread, i dont remeber which one. but in the bahamas there is this mentality that if a man isnt married he must be gay and if a woman isnt married she must be a dedicated and focus individual. LMOA i so hate double standards.

also another thing i hate is when people say if so and so wasnt married i would swear they was gay. people wake up gay people carry on hetrosexual relationships. it is impossibel to say who is gay and who is not just by looking at a persons life style.

as a christian i must say a person would be rather foolish to sit down and say well god will pay the bills this month. god helps those who help themselves. and you are so right yall dont mind Neil ELLIS (yeah i said his name) and the rest of them becuase they got money, their bills will be paid.

i say hell no, it is non of our business. should we ask them what is thier favorite sex position? since anyone can be gay married or single should we ask them how many times do they and their husband/wife have sex? should we find out from their spouse weather or not the person seems to enjoy the sex they do have?

my dear sir, i dont know where you live but if a politician in the bahamas were to live an openly gay lifestyle or come out of the closet. his career would be finish, complete, and come to a full stop
