I have to laugh at the alarmist that the Haitians are taking over. Why is it that the Dominican Republic that is Haiti's next door neighbour and joint tenant in Hispanola, not crying the Haitians taking over? I tell you why, the Dominicans enforce their laws. So who is responsible for seeing that the laws of the land are carried out: The Government. Who elects the Government: the people. Word to the wise is sufficient.

The DR don't even issue them birth certificate so at the end of the day they are Haitians and Haiti recognize them. The DR carries out its law and they don't care who you are and how much money you have, they may be harsh but it's their country.

We have no clear policy so exactly what laws do we want the Haitian people to follow?
